Sarah and Rick - Engagement

Sarah, Rick and I met up at Yates Cider Mill in Rochester on Monday for their engagement pictures. Yates has some really great old buildings as well as some nature trails along a stream, it also happens to be where Rick asked Sarah to marry him. It turned out to be a really nice place to catch some awesome images of the two of them. Here are two of my favorites.

Amber and Matt - Engagement

Lately I have been shooting a ton in downtown Detroit, it is an absolutely awesome place to shoot. I try to challenge myself each time I go there to come up with new places to shoot and new ways to shoot at spots that I have been to in the past. I met up with Amber and Matt Sunday night and had a great time walking around, talking and shooting with them. Here are three of my favorites, let me know what you think by leaving a comment.

Melissa and Robert - Engagement

Last week I met up with Melissa and Robert in what has become a very popular place for me to shoot, Comerica Park and the downtown area. There are so many great places downtown to shoot, I love it. Here are a couple of my favorites from last week.

Andrea and Ron - Engagement

It has been another great week, and I am getting ready to finish it of with two great weddings this weekend. Monday I met Andrea and Ron at Michigan Meadows Golf Club for a quick engagement session. The weather cooperated just enough and we were able to capture some great images. Here are two of my favorites.




Today I shot another engagement session in Detroit, I will have a couple of those posted early next week. I love shooting downtown, the weather was great and there were people everywhere. Stephanie and Darren - Engagement

Sunday afternoon I caught up with Stephanie and Darren. They had suggested going to Goodells County Park. I had never been there before and really had no idea where it was. When I found it I was really happy, it is an awesome spot for pictures and I can't wait until I find an opportunity to shoot there again. I had a great time shooting Stephanie and Darren, here are a few of my favorites.

Lisa and Chris - Engagement

I had two great engagement sessions this weekend. The first was with Lisa and Chris at Blossom Heath in St. Clair Shores. They have a great wedding planned in July that I am really looking forward to. Here's a couple of my favorites from Sunday.

Jamie and Peter - Engagement

Just a quick post because I have to get some sleep for a busy weekend, but I wanted to share a couple of images from tonights shoot. I met up with Jamie and Peter in Rochester tonight and we had a great shoot. Here are just a couple of my favorites.

Lisa and Matthew - Engagement

Yesterday I met up with Lisa and Matthew at Metro Beach. It was kind of gray and windy, but at least we had the beach to ourselves. I had a great time shooting and talking with the two of them and it sounds like their November wedding is going to be outstanding.

Ellen and Matt - Engagement

My second engagement shoot on Saturday was in Rochester with Ellen and Matt. This was the first time that I was really able to spend some time with the two of them and I had a really great time. These two are naturals in front of the camera, combine that with a great location and we were able to create some stunning images. Here are two of my favorites.

Tiara and Cerrome - Engagement

Sunday I had two great engagement shoots. The first one was in Detroit with Tiara and Cerrome. After meeting in Greektown we walked to Hart Plaza and back up Woodward with a stop at Campus Martius Park. It was a beautiful day and I really enjoyed shooting with Tiara and Cerrome, I am really excited for their wedding on July 4. Here's one of my favorites.

Frances and Dominic

On Sunday I met up with Frances and Dominic to shoot their engagement portraits in Rochester. The good weather that we had for the past couple of weeks had left and it was kind of cold, gray and windy. But they both hung in there with me and we were able to make some great images. Sarah & Andrew

Tuesday I met up with Sarah and Andrew for their engagement pictures. Of course the weather in Michigan at this time of year is not that great so we did some studio portraits. Here are a couple of my favorites. Thanks guys, I had a great time and am really looking forward to your wedding in October.

Cherese and Adam - Engagement

After a wedding on Saturday, Sunday morning editing pictures and the onset of a cold I was really exhausted on Sunday evening. Then I made the long drive out to Port Huron to meet Cherese and Adam for their engagement photos. Not only was the Port Huron boardwalk a beautiful place to take photos, but Cherese and Adam were great. We started off with them and their great dog and then just walked up the boardwalk for about an hour and got some great portraits.

I have been really lucky this year with a lot of new business and really great couples. It is really a great compliment to be trusted with documenting a couples wedding. As I prepare for what is going to be a really busy October, I want to thank all of the couples I have worked with this year for letting me be part of their important day! I really do have a great job.

Allison and Mike - Engagement

Today I went to St. Clair to shoot Allison and Mike's engagement photos. The boardwalk in St. Clair is just an awesome place, it is also where Mike proposed to Allison. It is always great taking photos in a spot that has so much meaning. Allison and Mike were great and I can't wait to shoot their wedding next June. Lindsay and Derek's Engagement

I went out to Heritage Park yesterday to shoot engagement pictures for Lindsay and Derek. I was kind of worried about the weather, but the rain stayed away and we were able to capture some really great images. I am excited about their wedding in September. Lindsay and Derek are both great, fun people. The wedding ceremony is in Richmond and the reception in St. Claire, two awesome towns with some great picture opportunities. Liz and Blake

It was really good to get back to work yesterday. I went out to Stoney Creek to meet with Liz and Blake for their engagement photos. It was a beautiful day and we got some great pictures. Liz and Blake are really great people and I cannot wait to shoot their wedding in October. I have been fortunate lately to work with some outstanding couples, and Liz and Blake definitely fall into that category.

Kellee and Dan

I have been really lucky lately to work with some great couples, Kellee and Dan are among the best. We shot their engagement photos a couple of weeks back and I had an awesome time. It is easy capturing great photos when the couple looks as good as these two do. Kellee and Dan had an idea of what they wanted and they were very involved in the shoot, we are making a huge poster sized print and signature board for the wedding, looks really cool. I can't wait for their wedding in July, it's in a small town, big old church, it going to be an outstanding day.

Katie & Chris

I had a great time on Friday evening shooting the engagement pics with Katie and Chris. They were a lot of fun and really looked great. We started out in the studio then went out to Brandenburg Park to spend some time by the water. I can't wait for their wedding later this year.
